Our Differences

Our products differ from traditional soft drinks in the following ways:

  • We don’t use carbonates, as they can damage the enamel on your teeth.
  • We don’t use added sugar because it’s nutritionally inferior to fruit, and contains less flavour.
  • We don’t add preservatives
  • We don’t add artificial flavourings
  • We don’t add artificial colourings
  • We do work with the Fairtrade Foundation and approved Fairtrade farmers where possible.
  • We pack our products under 100% clean, germ free, sterile conditions. It’s called ‘Aseptic Packing’.  The air in the bottles is removed and replaced by nitrogen to stop oxidation (deterioration) of the juice. This process slightly pressurizes the bottle so you may hear a little ‘hiss’ on opening. The equipment used and factory conditions are extremely modern, and very expensive. But the benefits are:
    • We don’t need to use preservatives
    • We get a longer shelf life – up to 6 months
    • It reduces the need for expensive, and energy consuming, chilled storage and distribution.
    • It reduces the wastage associated with short shelf-life chilled chain products.
    • So we can pass on these savings to our customers in the form of lower prices.
